Q: Who is Stardust Creative Enterprises, LLC?

A: Stardust Creative Enterprises, LLC was founded by Jeff Willoughby and Rebecca Lynn. The two created the company with three divisions for the purpose of creating, licensing and producing scripts for audio productions they call “audio enactments.”

The three divisions, Pilot Records, CinemaAudio® Productions and Swinging From The Trees Music all have different resources that when combined produce, sell and distribute the CD's to the public.

Stardust Creative Enterprises, LLC encourages talented people such as actors, writers, musicians, artists, photographers, directors, producers and others to submit their material to Stardust Creative Enterprises, LLC for review for use in a production.

Q: How do I submit a sample of my work?

A: Go to the “Contact Us” page and click on “Submission Guidelines.” There is a list there of how to submit work. You must also download a “Release Form.” YOU MUST DOWNLOAD THIS FORM. If you do not send us a release form with your work, your material will be discarded.

Q: Why can't I submit my work by email?

A: Because you have to SIGN a release form. This proves you sent the work. It also gives us permission to review it, copy it, file it and, if necessary, forward it to others for their evaluation. ‘Others' is defined as lawyers, actors, editors, test marketers or anyone we find necessary to review it for consideration.

Q: What if I get chosen?

A: If you are chosen, you will become an “Associate.” You will be given a web page complete with photo, bio, email address (<your name>@stardustcreative.com ) and audio sample of your work. Q: How do the “talents” or participants get paid?

A: Every deal or contract is specific to the individual. For instance, if you are a writer you may already have a contract with a publisher. But maybe that contract doesn't include audio rights. We would have to tailor the contract to accommodate those contingencies. But generally speaking, everyone gets paid a royalty for every CD sold. This way we all share in the effort. It also generates sales interests in the participants; Translation…Your work is now on a piece of product. You want to make more money? Help promote and sell it.

At the very least, you will have a very professional audio demo of your work. THAT in itself, is something most people have to PAY to have done.

Q: What does CinemaAudio® Productions do?

A: This division auditions actors, reviews scripts, licenses stories and books, licenses artwork for cover designs, and anything else that is needed to produce a finished CD. These ‘enactments' are similar to an old radio show but are actually closer to an “audio movie.”

Q: What makes a CinemaAudio® Production different from an audio book?

A: Well, for one thing it is shorter. Our productions are of two varieties, A “Feature” which is usually one hour or more in length. And we have a “Short” which can be any length from a few minutes and up to, but less than an hour. ‘Features' are on a disc or discs all by themselves. ‘Shorts' are included on Short Story Volumes with other short stories.

The other thing that makes our productions different is that the scripts are written in the present tense. This gives them a ‘live action' quality. Our test marketers have told us that this is what makes it difficult for them to ‘turn it off.'
